"I wanna nack"

This was Sadie's first sentence. It is a sentence spoken many times throughout the day....

I am constantly catching her getting into the pantry and any other place there might be a "nack".

Chips before 9am...why not?

Hard to catch her for a pic without her "nack"

She got into my purse and a bag full of chocolate almonds...

Evidence

We headed out to the park yesterday to enjoy the dry weather.
I was talking to another mom and after about 3 sentences she asked if I came from Texas. She said she could tell it in my voice. This is a daily occurrence, whether I'm on the phone or in the store. Is it that bad?? I guess the ole East Texas accent will always be with me.

Another Rainy day

Things I've learned so far...
we need: raincoats, umbrellas and rainboots.

While Sadie was at MDO, Gray and I spent some time at the mall working on our new wardrobes.

He likes to make wishes...or prayers

He said "I pray for gigi and popsy"

Here we are enjoying the closest thing to Mexican food

Yes, People....that is Taco Bell. No Tex-Mex here. What will we do?

Here is how Miss Sadie spends her time

Been going through all my pictures. Thought I would post our last days in Texas....

Dad bought Gray his first pole...and they went out and caught 4 fish in about 20 minutes. I think it is the B.Slaughter luck!

Many rides on the golf cart with popsy

The Grandas in the Burgh

Just a little blog for family and friends...especially the grandparents who are missing their grandbabies!

I always teased Fernando about me starting a blog and he said " yea, maybe if we moved far away one day".... so here goes.....

We've been in pitt for a week and a half now. The weather has treated us well, but the weathermen said last weekend was it for the "nice" weather. Now it is raining and I think he described the upcoming weekend as "raw"....I've got lots to learn.

We ventured out to Seven Springs resort for the weekend to enjoy the weather and get out of the house full of boxes and unorganized mess. Here are some pics from the week:

Fernando and Grayson on the Alpine Slide

Sadie loves the slide!
We're not in Texas anymore....a real Fall!
So many kids in the hood!
