In my last post, I mentioned we were on the mend with pneumonia....I was far from right. That Friday my little man was admitted to the hospital and we stayed 3 nights. I took him in Friday morning to the doc (after a monday and thursday visit)- my mommy gut feeling said something wasn't right with his breathing and cough. Sure enough - he had a low pulse/ox level of 88 (they at least want it to be 92.) After breathing treatment in the doc office, it didn't rise. So, off the the hospital we went. I thought we would be there for a couple of hours or maybe over night....boy I was wrong. This little man needed oxygen for 3 days. Finally on night 3 he went all night without oxygen and we were on our way home on Monday!
He had this happy and perky attitude throughout - it was hard to believe he needed to be in the hospital. Sadie made herself comfortable when she came to visit. Thank goodness it was on the weekend, so Fernando could stay home with Sadie. These are the moments when living far from family, make it so hard. He is much better!
Fernando and I made it to our first hockey game. It was quite a game. It ended with the Penguins tying it up in the last 6 seconds, it went to overtime, then a shootout! It is an intense sport. I might have enjoyed a pile of nachos too!
Gray brought this home the other day. I just think it is so cute. He is growing so fast....I can't believe it.
